I have had a great time going to this high school and I've gone to Bauxite schools my whole life. The teachers are great and the school spirit is too. We have pretty good sports teams every year and even if one team does bad we have many other sports teams that are pretty good.

A great school for those who don’t want a huge “preppy” school. You are able to learn and compete with a smaller number of students per class rather than bigger schools.

Personally, Bauxite showed me a community and family-like environment that I had never experienced in high school. The way that such a small school can still have so many active participants in almost every extracurricular shows just how involved the students and faculty at Bauxite are. However, I would love to see more money put into the academics and clubs at Bauxite. While I understand the size of my school district limits funding, the overall distribution is far from equitable, with sports like baseball and football receiving the majority.
