How to file a police report in Boone County, KY? ›

Requests for records should be submitted to the attention of the Custodian of Records, preferably by email at resmgt@boonecountymo.org. Requests may also be submitted by letter or phone call to the Resource Management office.

Online Reports

If you have a valid email address, the incident happened in LMPD's jurisdiction and the suspect is not actively on scene, you can file a police report online.

To file a police report, search online for the local law enforcement agency's contact information where the crime occurred. Most local law enforcement agencies accept anonymous tips or crime reports online or by phone. To learn more, contact your local police department.

Requests for public records must be made to individual County departments, agencies, commissions and committees. If you are unable to identify the appropriate department and need assistance, the Office of Countywide Communications, can direct you to the appropriate department, agency, commission or committee.
