This Divination Towers walkthrough shows the solution to the ten puzzles in one of four rooms of the Magic DLC pack in Escape Simulator. Check out the Divination Towers Token Locations page to find all 8 hidden tokens.

This room has unique setups for single and multiplayer modes. This walkthrough is written from the perspective of single player mode. While some items may be in different locations, the solutions for the puzzles are the same for both.

Open the drawer just below the Giant Book in the red tower and use the Teleporter Star on the teleport circle outside to be able to travel between the two towers.

Tea Cup Puzzle

Key Items Needed: Three Teacups, Animal Runes Note

Grab the three Teacups scattered around the room. Each Teacup has the shape of an animal in the tea leaves and a flower pattern beneath printed on the cup.

Use the Animal Runes Note to match the correct animal rune to the flower on the cup.

Turn the dials on the column and press the button below to get a Star Pin.

Crystal Ball Puzzle

There are three Crystal Balls sitting on tables in the red tower. Look at each from different angles until the symbol lines up.

Remember the symbol and the shape of the base of the Crystal Ball.

Put the symbols on the correct dial in the column and press the button for a Star Pin.

Palmistry Puzzle

Key Items Needed: Palmistry Poster, Wizard Biographies Book

Take the Palmistry Poster from the wall and the Wizard Biographies Book to the blue tower. On the balcony there is a statue of a hand with the name Fergus Grimm.

Use the clues from the Book and the Poster to move the ring to the correct astrological symbol and the sliders on the three lines on the palm to represent the wizard’s life.

When solved, the Sphere of Symbols will appear.

Sphere of Symbols Puzzle

The Sphere of Symbols has a number of groups of symbols connected by lines.

On the balcony of the red tower is a chest with a lock whose hint features four symbols in a particular order.

Find the group that follows the same order and use the numbers to open the chest and get three Tarot Cards.

Tarot Puzzle

Key Items Needed: Five Tarot Cards

Take the two Tarot Cards from the Tarot Card board. Arrange all five Cards on the board to complete the picture.

Numbers will illuminate along the bottom of the image.

Use these numbers on the dials under the card symbol on the column to get a Star Pin.

Star Pin Puzzle

Key Items Needed: Five Star Pins

Look outside and note three constellations in the sky above the red tower.

The blue tower has a peg board with two shining Star Pins. Place the three blue Star Pins obtained from previous puzzles on the board. The shining Star Pins are able to make connections to the other pins.

Use the Star Pins to create the three constellations on the board. Grab the Pendulum Crystal.

Pendulum Puzzle

Key Items Needed: Pendulum Crystal, Pendulum Divination Poster

Attach the Pendulum Crystal to the chain hanging from one of the towers on the table. Based on the image of the tower in the space below, the Pendulum will swing in different patterns to reflect a particular number.

Use the Pendulum Divination Poster from the red tower to decode the patterns into numbers.

Find the image that represents each of the four towers on the table and adjust the height of each to match the number given by the Pendulum. Once correct, the Flying Keys will be knocked to the ground.

Shooting Stars Puzzle

Return to the red tower, look outside and notice there are three sets of shooting stars falling over the opposite tower.

Count the number of stars and put the number into the Giant Book. It will shrink to a carryable size.

Giant Book Puzzle

Key Items Needed: Giant Book, Unfinished Note

Place the Giant Book on the stand in front of the large tapestry in the blue tower. You can move the story elements on the tapestry by moving them on the grid in the book. Starting in the bottom left corner of the tapestry, place each story element in the correct circle by following the story and the path as it winds around to each.

Complete the story to get the Self-Writing Quill.

Use the Self-Writing Quill on the Unfinished Note found on a table in the red tower for a hint to the characteristics of the Keys needed to open the door

Flying Keys Puzzle

Key Items Needed: Unfinished Note, Four Flying Keys

The Unfinished Note mentions four specific properties of the Keys to the door which can each be tested for.

An Everbright Key can be found by placing the Keys under the small table by the balcony.

Place the Keys near each other to find the Repeller.

Throwing the Keys will reveal Bouncy.

The Ticklish Key is easy to spot as it wiggles as soon as it is picked up.

Put the Keys in the appropriate keyholes on the door to escape.
