Effective date
The date when your coverage starts, either the date of your departure or the date on your confirmation documentation.
GOOD TO KNOW
If you decide to extend your trip you can get coverage for extra days, but with certain conditions:
- You did not require medical care during the trip which will result in a claim
- There has been no change in your health status
- Your existing coverage has not ended
- You have not exceeded the maximum number of days stated in your plan
