Diplomat Long Term Insurance (Diplomat LT) plan provides long term international travel medical coverage that can be purchased from three months up to three years. Diplomat LT policy provides up to $1,000,000 accident/injury and sickness/illnesss coverage, travel assistance services, optional home country coverage, and AD&D, repatriation, evacuation benefits and more, while traveling outside insured Home Country. Coverage is available for primary insured, a second adult, and unmarried dependent children, or children traveling alone. The minimum period that coverage can be purchased is 3 months, the maximum is 12 months., with extendable or renewable coverage up to 3 years. Diplomat LT plan is administered by Global Underwriters, and is underwritten by Crum & Forster SPC, rated “A” (excellent) by A.M. Best.
