Advance Declaration: Save time when making your customs and immigration declaration in advance

You can make your customs and immigration declaration using Advance Declaration in the ArriveCAN app before you fly into one of Canada’s participating airports. Benefits include:

  • enjoy a more modern travel experience with a digital self-serve tool
  • prepare your declaration at your own pace, and from the location of your choice, up to 72 hours before a flight
  • access Advance Declaration express lanes
  • edit, confirm (certify) or update your declaration at a kiosk or eGate; it's up to 50% faster

Note: At this time, travellers cannot use the Advance Declaration with NEXUS kiosks.
