Why are Allianz policies so much cheaper than the others? (2024)

Short Answer

Allianz policies are often significantly less expensive than other policies for trips longer than 30 days, because they have a different pricing structure than most providers.

More Detail

Length of trip is one of the determining factors of a policy’s premium. In most cases, the longer the trip, the more expensive the policy. However, Allianz does not increase the premium for any trips longer than 30 days. This means, an Allianz policy for 25 days is the same price as an Allianz policy for 45 days. For this reason, Allianz policies are often less expensive for travelers who have trip lengths longer than 30 days.
